What’s going on in and around Chandler on July 4th? Where can you get your stars and stripes on? We’ve rounded up the highlights in our latest blog, Your Guide to the 4th Of July in Chandler!
Let’s kick all things July 4th in Chandler, Az off with the July 4th Fireworks Spectacular. The party runs from 5-10:30pm with the fireworks beginning at 9 and promises to be spectacular! Head over to Tumbleweed Park where you’ll find the fun, a DJ, and music from People Who Can Fly and Blaine Long. You’ll also find (deep breath): Laser Tag, Game on Wheelz, Face Painting, A Balloon Artist, Archery, Basketball, Football, a Western Shooting Game, a Lego Trackless Train and an inflatable Car Wash that you’re invited to walk through! Sounds like fun, right? Maybe we’ll see you there.
You can also check out the Red, White and Rawhide on July 4th at Rawhide on 5700 W. North Loop Road. It begins at 4pm and leads to a firework show at 9:30pm. Everything you could want is here; from food trucks to mobile water slides, from food to live music. And what a selection of live music! There’ll be three different stages that feature seven different bands. Also on hand are (deep breath); stagecoach rides, a petting zoo, gunfight performances, gold panning, rock climbing and more. We think you’ll have LOTS of fun at this event!
For a 4th of July Chandler event that’s a little different, head over to the 4th of Zoo-ly at the Phoenix Zoo (see what they did there?). Running on July 4th from 7-10pm, you can enjoy a variety of events including carousel rides, a catered BBQ dinner and a fireworks show at 9pm. But it doesn’t stop there! Oh no! You can hit up Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs in 4D as well as face painting, bouncy houses and more.
